Miley Cyrus performed for her Gypsy Heart Tour on Sunday, May 1st, in Lima, Peru. In front of an audience of loyal fans that consisted mainly of young girls between the ages of 12 to 16, Miley got the concert off to a great start by saying, "Hello everyone, thank you for being here in the second concert of the tour. I know you've been told to sit but I tell you to stand up if you want to. Ignore them. I want you to break the rules, jump and scream! You are my inspiration. I love you". Performing lively songs such as, Party In The USA, Kicking And Screaming, 7 Things and Scar, she also sang ballads, such as, Obsessed and Forgiveness And Love. Miley teared up during the singing of her hit single, The Climb, amid the shouts and screams of thousands of young fans. At the concert's end, the 18 year old singer couldn't stop saying, "Thank you, guys" and "I love you". She then sang her last song, Can't Be Tamed and left the stage. With with the onset of thunderous chants of, Miley, Miley, by the more than 19,000 fans there, Miley returned to the stage and sang, My Heart Beats For Love and closed with, Who Owns My Heart. Miley was overwhelmed by the love shown by her Peruvian fans and it was obvious that the second concert of this highly publicized international tour was yet another success for the young American star.
The biggest surprise of the night was Miley's cover of Nirvana's, Smells Like Teen Spirit, which she dedicated to her brother. Watch a sample of this amazing performance below!
