Miley Cyrus kicked off her, Gypsy Heart Tour, in Quito, Ecuador last night. The crowd appeared captivated by the 18 year old American singer as she belted out numerous songs to an overwhelming roar of cheers and applause from her adoring audience. The concert was a huge success for the young singer as she wooed her South American fans. After the concert, Miley tweeted, "Honestly , I can't believe my first show is already over. Amazinnggg. This crowd was beyond incredible. I cried my eyes out. so touched. ILY
I cant wait for the next show! LIMA HERE I COME =] You got tough competition EQUADOR was freakingggg amaz!".

Miley Getting Ready For Tour

Miley Cyrus spent a leisurely Easter weekend in Toluca Lake, California, shopping and preparing for her upcoming Gypsy Heart tour. She tweeted, ""On my way to final day of dress rehearsal! Ah! One week until I leave! So stressed about packing? Anyone wanna help me haha I could use it"! She and a few of her girlfriends were spotted store hopping and she even met up with her on again boyfriend, Liam Hemsworth. Miley has made comments about the royal marriage this week between Prince William and Kate Middleton, confessing that she wished she could be a flower girl. Miley said that she thought that the crown jewels were the most fabulous things she had ever seen and that, along with the rest of us, she couldn't wait to see what Kate will wear this Friday, in the wedding that is sure to be the most talked about event of the decade.

Miley Cyrus Asked To Raise Apartheid Issue On Tour

With Miley Cyrus set out to begin her,Gypsy Heart, world tour on April 29, Hindus and Jews want the American singer to spread awareness about the apartheid faced by about 15-million European Gypsies. This was issued in a statement by Hindu statesman Rajan Zed and Rabbi Jonathan B. Freirich, prominent Jewish leader in Nevada and California earlier today. The statement quotes Miley as saying that, "Gypsy Heart is not just a tour for me, but a mission to spread love". Zed and Freirich said they were hopeful that Cyrus would not stay an apathetic and silent spectator when fellow Gypsy brothers/sisters were facing blatant injustice and discrimination in Europe. Both believe that Miley would be very effective in focusing public opinion world over on Gypsy apartheid. The statement also noted that the, "Alarming condition of Gypsies was a social blight for Europe and the rest of the world as they reportedly regularly faced social exclusion, racism, substandard education, hostility, joblessness, rampant illness, inadequate housing, lower life expectancy, unrest, living on desperate margins, language barriers, stereotypes, mistrust, rights violations, discrimination, marginalization, appalling living conditions, prejudice, human rights abuse, racist slogans on Internet, unusually high unemployment rates, etc.". There has been no comment issued by eighteen year old Miley as yet!
