Miley Cyrus VMA Performance Was Edited

With the world still buzzing about Miley Cyrus and her racy MTV Video Music Awards performance, Miley claims that the producers of the show used clever camera angles to hide some of the more provocative gestures she made during the performance. Her performance with Robin Thicke of his hit, "Blurred", has been called raunchy, inappropriate, disgusting and a host of other expletives by the general public and even fellow celebrities. Miley told Fashion Magazine, "I was trying to slap Robin's [blank] but no one saw it! Believe me MTV  edited so much. They cut almost everything I did." Miley makes NO excuses for her performance and makes it clear that she is proud of it, stating,  "I feel like music is really stale right now ... The reaction to what I did has been insane. I think it was a breath of fresh air!" 
Miley also revealed to Fashion, that "Drive", the ninth track of her new album, "Bangerz", was written while she was working on Valentine's Day. She admitted that, “Emotionally it was such a hard time. It is about needing to leave someone but not really wanting to completely cut yourself off from the relationship. It’s a time when you want to leave but you can’t. It’s also about moving on.” Evidently, Miley and Liam Hemsworth were having problems that led up to their public split last week, way back then.

Miley's new album, "Bangerz", is set to be released in stores on October 4, 2013.

Miley Cyrus Celebrates Rolling Stone Cover With Tattoo

In celebration of Miley Cyrus's first cover story for Rolling Stone Magazine, she admitted that she wanted to do something fun. "I thought about going to play laser tag," she says. "But laser tag sucks. And we could have gone bowling, but what are we, 90?" Next came what seemed  to be the most natural thing for Miley to do, and that was.....to get a tattoo! She decided that the perfect place to place this milestone tattoo  would be on her feet. These are the 20-year-old pop star's first tattoos on her feet, but she has plenty of others: a peace sign, an equal sign, a heart and a cross (all on her fingers); the words love inside her right ear and just breathe over her rib cage; a Leonardo da Vinci sketch on her right forearm, and above it, the Roman numerals VIIXCI, for 7/91, the month and year her parents first met. With the world still buzzing from Miley's controversial performance at the VMA Awards, Miley did her OWN thing once again and had the words, Rolling, tattooed on the bottom of one foot and Stone, on the bottom of the other. In this era of deep national polarization, Miley continues to rock the boat in search of presenting to the public her true, ADULT self. She is actually as brilliant as she is outrageous in her quest to do this. After all, a week after her erotic performance that angered and disgusted many, she is still the MOST talked about celebrity in the media today!

Hello to all of the new readers here and hopefully, some of the old. I have not posted any articles in over a year, but I am announcing TODAY that I will resume presenting you all with the LATEST and GREATEST news about Miley Cyrus. She still lives on and there have been many changes taking place in the world of Miley. I can't wait to keep you up to date on ALL of these happenings as they occur!

Miley and Liam SPARKLE at Celebrity Fight Night XVIII

 Miley Cyrus created an enormous media stir when she attended Muhammad Ali's, "Celebrity Fight Night XVIII", with long term boyfriend Liam Hemsworth and was photographed wearing a sparkling diamond ring. Rumors circulated that she and the handsome Australian actor were engaged. The ring came only a few days after a source revealed to OK Weekly that the pair were madly in love and even considering marriage. Sources have since confirmed that the pair are definitely NOT yet engaged, even though they certainly look very happy lately, as seen in the pictures below!

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth Glow at the "Hunger Games" Preview

Miley Cyrus and her boyfriend, Liam Hemsworth, lit up the Red Carpet at the premiere of his new movie, "The Hunger Games", on Monday, March 12. Miley sported her new ombre colored short hair look with incredible style. Liam Hemsworth plays Gale Hawthorn in the highly anticipated film adaptation of the Suzanne Collins post-apocalyptic novel.  While Liam's character in the film and in the book, is fighting for Katniss Everdeens' affection over Peeta Mellark, played by Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson respectively, Liam has his eyes out for only one girl in real life, Miley Cyrus. The 22 year old Aussie actor was fashionably dressed in a stylish Dolce and Gabbana suit, while 19 year old Miley was equally stunning and wowed the crowd, with her cleavage and midriff-baring outfit. Miley  showed off her incredibly toned body in a glittery half top and a long black skirt created by noted designer, Emilio Pucci. The movie will be released to the public on March 23, 2012.

Miley Wows In Stunning But Daring Dress

Miley Cyrus had all eyes on her at CNN's, Heroes event on Sunday, 12/11/11. Escorted by her boyfriend, Liam Hemsworth, the 19 year old looked stunning in a butter colored Cavalli gown that showed off more than enough of her bulging cleavage. Sometimes LESS.....is MORE!

SNL Pokes Fun At Miley Cyrus Again

Miley Cyrus' 19th birthday video, in which she talked about being “a stoner", was parodied in another installment of “The Miley Cyrus Show” on Saturday Night Live. In the sketch, Cyrus jokes on her show about how “You know you smoke too much f’n weed when your friends get you a Bob Marley  cake". She then tries to tell a monologue joke, but is too wasted, and too busy scarfing down Dorito's. “Miley Cyrus Show” bandleader Billy Ray Cyrus then interjects “You’re like a funny little Cheech Marin, referencing the star of the stoner “Cheech & Chong” films. Miley's first guest is then a guy named “Jeff”, whom she met at “Burning Man",  followed by a psychedelic music video the two made. After that, Billy Ray introduces Whitney Houston(played by SNL's Maya Rudolph), who is on “The Miley Cyrus Show” to “warn against the dangers of drug use". Really funny stuff!

Miley Cyrus Jokes About Weed At 19th Birthday Party

Happy Birthday Miley Cyrus! Miley stunned well wishers at her 19th birthday party, happily telling them she’s a pot-loving “stoner". Guests were amazed as she went on to say, “You know you’re a stoner when your friends make you a Bob Marley cake”. Miley further commented that, “You know you smoke way too much f--king weed!” Party host and pal, Kelly Osbourne, who was standing at her side, then jokingly commented, "I thought salvia was your problem"!
In an interview with US Weekly, her rep said that, "The cake was a joke and Miley's response was intended to be sarcastic". The star studded bash was held at the fabulous Roosevelt Hotel, located in Hollywood, California.

Miley Cyrus Strikes Back About Her Curves

Miley Cyrus has been cruelly criticized by some on Twitter as being fat. Although 18 year old Miley is definitely sporting a more curvier figure since her, "Hannah Montana" days, the former Disney star took to Twitter to defend her curves and strike back at all the haters. Miley posted a picture of an emaciated woman with ribs protruding and twittered, "By calling girls like me fat, this is what you're doing to other people." She went on to say, "I love MYSELF & If you could say the same you wouldn't be sitting on your computer trying to hurt others". Miley then tweeted a picture of the curvaceous blonde bombshell Marilyn Monroe, and wrote that men, including Liam, prefer curvy women. She went on to say, "I don't wanna be shaped like a girl. I LOVE being shaped like a WOMAN & trust me ladies your man won't mind either".

Miley Cyrus To Cover Bob Dylan Song

Miley Cyrus will cover legendary songsmith Bob Dylan for a charity tribute album. Other pop stars set to contribute tracks for, “Chimes of Freedom: Songs of Bob Dylan Honoring 50 Years of Amnesty International", include, Adele, Sting and Ke$ha. Britain’s Daily Express newspaper also reported that Patti Smith and Dave Matthews Band have also signed on for the project. Eighteen year old Miley has a history of covering rock classics. First there was her Bret Michaels endorsed version of  "Every Rose Has Its Thorn", followed by Nirvana's, “Smells Like Teen Spirit” , that she performed during her recent South American tour.

Miley Cyrus Gets Prestige Magazine Cover

Miley Cyrus has landed the September 2011 cover of Asia's, Prestige Magazine and the 18 year old has never looked better. It’s the magazine’s sixth anniversary issue and Miley’s story is tagged with the cover line: “I’m not a bad girl.” Miley looks absolutely stunning on the cover and bears no resemblance to the youngster she portrayed as Hannah Montana. She's all grown up now and it's time that everyone realizes this. In the magazine, Miley addressed her status as a role model and she is very astute about the perceptions of her. "People have very mixed opinions on me,” she admitted. “I’m a great role model, or I’m completely inappropriate for anyone under 13 and I am controversial. I don’t know how I became this. There was this magazine article the other day, showing all the younger celebrities. I was the Girl Next Door or whatever, and I fell under the category of Good Girl Gone Bad. And I was like, “What the hell, man?” I stay in the house pretty much every day. I don’t go out. I’ve had same boyfriend for two years. So I think there are two very different reviews.” Miley admitted that even though she was grateful for the oppurtunities the Hannah Montana show gave her, she doesn't miss it at all. Miley said, "Don’t put yourself in a situation where people re going to think of you as only one thing. You’re going to change a lot. It interferes with your growing up if you’re not strong enough and you’re not sure who you want to be. I’m glad I’m not a character any more and able to be me.” Like it or not, Miley has matured and I think that it's in the most positive way!

Miley Cyrus Beats Out Justin Bieber For Celebrity Bowling Hall Of Fame

Miley Cyrus has secured her induction into the Celebrity Bowling Hall of Fame. Miley collected 42% of votes that was cast between July 12 and August 6 this year. Cyrus beat out strong contender Justin Bieber, who trailed behind with 30% of votes. Steve Johnson, executive director of the Bowling Proprietors' Association of America, admitted to have predicted the head ot head battle between the two stars. He said in a press release, "We knew that with mega stars such as Miley Cyrus and Justin Bieber in our line-up that this year's race would be a close one."  He went on to say that, "Fueled by the passion and support of her supporters and bowling fans worldwide, Ms. Cyrus rose to the occasion scoring an incredible comeback victory," Johnson continued on. "We are honored to welcome her into the Hall of Fame and grateful for her support of the great sport of bowling."

According to the list, the richest teen star is 18 year old super star Miley Cyrus. Her net worth is calculated to be around $120 million. She may be controversial, but that has not impacted her finances in any substantial way. Check out the list below.

Miley Cyrus' New Tattoo Sparks Gay Rights Debate.

Miley Cyrus has never hesitated from expressing her thoughts, and over the weekend she posted a photo of her latest tattoo on her Twitter. This tattoo is an "Equal Sign" on her ring finger. With this photo she added a statement "ALL LOVE is equal" which speaks for the gay rights. However, this statement prompted a debate very quickly on her Twitter account. Fans expressed their mixed feelings on her Twitter.

"Where does it say in the bible to judge others? Oh right. It doesn't," Miley tweeted to one fan who questioned her belief in God after displaying her support of the gay community. "GOD is the only judge honey. GOD is love."

But when her fans began attacking the fan who questioned her, Miley defended her for sharing her opinion with the world. "Dude everyone lay off ... Love u! Everyone is entitled 2 opinions! If u don't stand 4 something you'll fall for anything."

Her Twitter profile has a similar message: "Let your light shine. Be a source of strength & courage. Share your wisdom. RADIATE LOVE."

This is not first time that statement of Miley has sparked a debate. In a Parade magazine interview in March 2010, Miley said that one of the reasons she had quit Twitter for a time was that she was getting angry tweets from fans who didn't agree with her support of gay marriage. She returned to Twitter earlier this year.

"There has been so much controversy sometimes about what I've said or done because I believe there are no mistakes, because God is the only one who can judge us," Miley explained. "That's the reason I deleted my Twitter account because I said on there that I believed in gay marriage because everyone should have the right to love each other, and I got such hate mail about my being a bad person."
