Amid all the controversy and negative press that Miley Cyrus has received.....DID YOU KNOW.....that the young singer and her mother, Tish Cyrus, flew to the city of Port-Au-Prince, in late February to to see the relief efforts made by workers at her, "Get Ur Good On", organization which she set up to encourage young people to get involved in philanthropy. Volunteers have teamed up with aid workers at the, "Starkey Hearing Foundation", to deliver hearing aids to survivors of the devastating earthquake which hit the region in January 2010. Miley admitted that it was quite an experience to witness the the progress being made in person. She told People Magazine, "It was an amazing experience to watch kids hear for the first time in their lives." Something HAS to be said when someone actually takes time away from an obviously busy life to not only "talk the talk", but "walk the walk". Kudos go out to you Miley!

Miley Cyrus Puts Paparazzi Cameraman In His Place!

Miley Cyrus is NO pushover and she recently showed that enough is enough. Miley and her mother, Tish Cyrus were coming out of a restaurant after a casual lunch and were rushed by a barrage of paparazzi. One of the zealous cameramen apparently knocked Tish with his camera and Miley came immediately to her mother's defense. "What the…? OK, are you serious?" Miley asked the cameraman, doing an immediate about-face. "You just hit my mom with your camera." Although he anxiously tried to deny it, Miley was having none of it, backing him in a corner and pointing a finger in his face saying, "Yes you did…You just ran into my mom with your camera. Don't you ever do that again. You just almost hurt my mom. Don't you ever even think about it. For real. That was crazy. You just hit my mom". Way to go Miley. I guess he will think twice about getting in HER or her mother's face again. Let's just hope that a few more of these relentless paparazzi will learn from this one's lesson!

Miley Cyrus Quiets Critics With SNL Performance

 jury is out, and it is official among most viewers that Miley Cyrus scored a touchdown as she hosted her first ever Saturday Night Live segment in front of millions of viewers on March 6th. Miley delighted us by poking fun not only at herself, but other famous hollywood personalities. Watch a few videos of her antics here.

Miley Cyrus Nails It As SNL Host and Justin Bieber

Miley Cyrus really nailed her first appearance as host of the Saturday Night Live show last night. In the show's opening monologue, Miley poked fun at her pole dancing incident, as well as the Annie Leibowitz photo shoot during a song with the consistent refrain, "I'm sorry, I'm not perfect". The 18 year old teen sensation also blew away her audience with her impersonation of Justin Bieber in the show's, "The Miley Cyrus Show" segment. In it, the show's cast member, Vanessa Bayer, who usually plays Miley and "Hannah Montana" on that segment, plays the fake Miley interviewing the show's guest, Justin Bieber(Miley Cyrus). Miley, sporting the infamous Justin Bieber haircut, was hilarious. At one point, the fake Miley asked the fake Bieber, if he spoke Canadian and if he had gone through puberty. She then showed a clip of her own movie featuring her as a toddler. At the end of that particular skit, Miley sang, "The Miley Cyrus Show's", theme song. Miley overall seemed to have fun poking fun at herself and provided us with an hour of pure entertainment. Great job Miley! Watch this and see just a little of what you missed.
